Aug 5, 2011: Haiphong People's Committee held a ceremony on July 29, 2011 to review the local economic activities for the first six months of 2011 and awarded individuals and companies that achieved business excellence in 2010. TAKAHATA PRECISION VIETNAM CO., LTD. (TPVN) was one of seven companies in the Haiphong Economic Zone Authority that received awards this time.

Aug 1, 2011: On July 24, 2011, TAKAHATA PRECISION (THAILAND) LTD.(TPTH) participated in a tree planting activity as part of its CSR activities at the nearby Sao Wang Ka village community.

June 1, 2011: TAKAHATA PRECISION CO., LTD. (TPJP) and TAKAHATA PRECISION (THAILAND) LTD. (TPTH) have set up donation boxes to raise money for employees living in affected areas by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Of the TAKAHATA Group, TPTH is actively taking part in CSR activities by also making donations for people affected by the floods in Southern Thailand.

May 23, 2011: On March 30, 2011, a new Eco-Stage 1 Certification audit was performed at Headquarters operations and the Mold　Operation Division (formerly Headquarters/ Tokyo Factory). We received the updated certificate on April 14.
TAKAHATA's Eco-Stage activities are not just for environmental purposes, but also to reform our management methods.
For this reason, the Quality Division and the Production Division will be added to the former Headquarters operations from FY2011. This will help us develop activities and further promote reforms related to the environment.

May 1, 2011: On Apr 1, 2011, the Mold Division of TAKAHATA PRECISION CO., LTD. became independent and established TAKAHATA PRECISION FINE MOLD CO., LTD.

Apr 18, 2011: TAKAHATA expresses its deepest condolences to all those who lost their loved ones in the Great East Japan Earthquake and its aftermath, and our deepest sympathy to those who are suffering. To assist the victims and to help in reconstruction efforts in areas affected by the disaster, we will strive to provide relief efforts and support.

Apr 5, 2011: The Kyushu office of TAKAHATA PRECISION CO., LTD. relocated from Kita-Kiyushu-shi in Fukuoka prefecture to Kurate-gun, also in Fukuoka prefecture. The office is now located within the facilities of TAKAHATA PRECISION KYUSHU CO., LTD.

Mar 17, 2011: To commemorate the publication of the inaugural June issue of the TAKAHATA Group’s company newsletter “TAKAHATA TIMES”, a Pilot version will be published in April.
By designating English as the primary language for the newsletter, we will aim to strengthen the unity of the entire TAKAHATA Group.

Feb 18, 2011: TAKAHATA received the FY2010 Quality Excellence Award at the New Year's Congratulatory Reception held by MITSUBA Corporation on January 28, 2011. We are grateful for the efforts and cooperation by those involved. We will continue to promote further improvements to aim for receiving the award in FY2011.

Jan 13, 2011: The 5th Quality Inspection Competition was held at DENSO (GUANGZHOU NANSHA) CO., LTD.on Dec 19, 2010. (13 people from 11 suppliers entered the competition.)
TAKAHATA PRECISION (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. accomplished a remarkable feat by winning the competition even though it was the first time the plant entered the competition. The competition was competed on both academic and practical events. Following the victory of TAKAHATA PRECISION (SHENZHEN) CO., LTD. last year, the TAKAHATA Group won the competition two years in a row.

Dec 23, 2010: Established “Aquiba Pty. Ltd.”, in Australia on December 08, 2010, for marketing and sales execution of the electromagnetic smart water meter, “Aquiba” in Australian market.

Dec 9, 2010: The Smart Utilities Australia and New Zealand was held for 2 days on November 3-4, and ended successfully. TAKAHATA would like to thank all those who visited.

Dec 6, 2010: TAKAHATA participated in the 38th DENSO Supplier Skills Competitions on Nov 27 and Dec 4, 2010, and received 1st place in the milling division for 3 years in a row.

Dec 6, 2010: Held an Earth Breaking Ceremony at TPIN on Nov 17, 2010, and began land development construction.

Dec 6, 2010: Established GAO XIN LENS BARREL CO., LTD. jointly with Soshin Co., Ltd. in Suzhou, China on Sep 9, 2010, to specially manufacture lens barrel for cameras.
Business description: Manufacture mold for lens tube, resin mold, and product assembly in general.

Sep 1, 2010: Changed the company name from TAKAHATA SEIKO CO., LTD. to TAKAHATA PRECISION CO., LTD. The company logo has also been changed and we have implemented our new brand identity.

Aug 19, 2010: Established TAKAHATA PRECISION INDIA PVT. LTD. The production plant is under construction in the state of Rajasthan in the Neemrana Industrial Complex and is scheduled to be completed in September, 2011.

Jun 24, 2010: Established TAKAHATA PRECISION KYUSHU CO., LTD. The production plant is under construction in Kotake-machi, Kurate-gun, Fukuoka, and is scheduled to be completed in November, 2011.

Apr 30, 2010: TAKAHATA signs up to the United Nations Global Compact to fulfill our corporate responsibilities and role to contribute to the development of a global sustainable society.
