Die machining is as crucial to the quality
of the finished plastic moldings as the molding die design. The Molding die Manufacture
Group employs 13 qualified technicians who have passed national examinations
(2 special-class, 4 first-class, and 7 second-class). These able technicians
operate NC machines, super-precision machining centers, electric discharge
machines, and wire cutters to produce parts that meet a micron level of
accuracy. The Group has introduced a production control system specially
designed for molding die manufacturing, based on a rigorous production control
scheme that includes ‘Schedule Management.’ The CAD-DNC system newly installed
uses CAD data with optimal efficiency and handles customer requirements
with unparalleled flexibility.
V55: PTC (pallet changer) runs 24 hours a day, turning out super-precision parts.
Discharge: Linear drive, X-Y-Z
